A FAMILY CAMP FOR JESUS LOVERS

ABOUT HFF

HFF is the church host for the Feast of Tabernacles in Oklahoma. It is hosted at Lake Murray State Park and is a closed campground. In December of 2015 HFF was founded to be a Jesus centered, family-friendly church who taught the whole Bible through the lens of the Jewish Messiah. As a non-denominational church who meets on Saturday’s in the OKC metro area and Dallas area, we strive to offer a safe and healthy environment for believers in Jesus to thrive in their journey to walk out their salvation through His likeness.

WHAT IS THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES OR SUKKOT?

The Feast of Tabernacles is referred to in the Bible as the Feast of Booths. As recorded first in Leviticus chapter 23 it is sometimes known as Sukkot in Hebrew. The over arching commandment was for the Israelites to dwell in temporary shelters for seven days as a reminder of when their ancestors were in the wilderness and how God continuously provided for them.

The Feast of Tabernacles is an annual celebration surrounded by rejoice and celebration. We see in the New Testament, in the book of John chapter 7, that Jesus also attended the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles).

While there is debate, it is a commonly held theory that Jesus was born during the Feast of Tabernacles to incorporate the God with us theory. This is the emphasis we at HFF put on the Feast of Tabernacles in Oklahoma, Jesus with us.
